Vancouver, B.C. – May 22, 2018: Liberty Leaf President & CEO, Will Rascan, announced today the appointment of Ms. Jamie Pearson to the Advisory Board of the Company. Ms. Pearson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through her longstanding track record in the cannabis industry.

Liberty Leaf Holdings Ltd. (CSE: LIB, OTCQB: LIBFF and FSE: HN3P) (“Liberty Leaf” or the “Company”) is a Canadian-based, public company whose objective is to be at the forefront of the cannabis industry, accelerating vertically-integrated businesses within this rapidly growing sector.

Currently the Director of Operations at Bhang Corporation – an award winning multinational cannabis company – Jamie Pearson works with the Company’s cannabis licensees in different states and oversees the CHB venture (Cypress Hill Bhang). She came to Bhang on the heels of a successful career investing in real estate. She is a serial entrepreneur with years of business operations experience.

Ms. Pearson also serves as Managing Director of AMMBA Inc., a cannabis consulting firm that is retained by celebrities and cannabis companies seeking mutual endorsement opportunities.

“We are delighted to have Jamie on the Advisory Board at Liberty Leaf,” said Will Rascan. “Her experience and expertise make her an ideal advisor and an experienced steward for the future of our enterprise.”

According to Rascan, one of Ms. Pearson’s first responsibilities will be to work with the Just Kush’s build-out team and their Cannabis Compliance “CCI” consultants, as they progress forward in finalizing its Health Canada Attestation of Readiness review. Just Kush is a subsidiary of Liberty Leaf that focuses on cannabis cultivation.

Named One of the Top Twenty Exceptional Women in Business

Jamie was named one of the Top Twenty Exceptional Women in Business by the Billings Gazette. She grew up as a ‘cannabis kid’; her father has been a cultivator since the 1970s in Montana. Ms. Pearson currently owns a cultivation operation in Northern California with DJ Muggs and has been a cannabis-friendly landlord to cultivators in Montana for over a decade. She has a B.A. from Vassar College and a Master’s in Leadership from the University of Oregon.

“I am very excited about the robust growth that Liberty Leaf is achieving,” Ms. Pearson said. “I very much look forward to contributing to that success in the coming years.”
